Samuel A. Mills represents entrepreneurs, businesses and business owners, investors, and executives in a wide variety of industries. From the formation and structuring of companies and partnerships, and the negotiation of business deals and entity agreements, to providing ongoing advice in the operations of businesses, Sam serves as general counsel to a core group of clients. He routinely handles mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of various asset classes, and private equity and financing transactions. Sam is also broadly experienced in all aspects of commercial real estate law, including the acquisition, disposition, and financing of raw land, office buildings, apartment complexes, hotels, retail centers, industrial and other income-producing properties; leasing; the use of tax-exempt bonds to finance real estate projects; structured finance and securitization; swaps; and letters of credit and other credit-enhancement facilities. On a select basis, he accepts representation of professional athletes and entertainers in contract negotiations and other business matters.
